Data Deletion

Last updated: October 30, 2026

What data we keep

When you connect a channel (Facebook, Instagram and others) to Poof, we store the channel details, an encrypted access token used to publish on your behalf, and the posts and media you create in the app. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

How to delete your data

  • Disconnect a channel: on the Connected Channels page, click "Disconnect" next to the channel. The channel's access token is removed from our system immediately.
  • Delete your account and data: email office@poof.li from the address registered on your account and we will delete the account, channels, posts and media.
  • Remove the app in Facebook or Instagram: in your Meta account settings, under "Apps and Websites", remove Poof. Meta notifies us automatically and the channel connections and access tokens linked to your Meta account are deleted.

When deletion happens

A deletion request sent through Meta is handled immediately: the channel connections and access tokens are deleted and the request is marked completed. If it cannot finish right away it stays pending and is completed within 30 days. Posts and media belong to the business and are deleted only when the account is deleted. Disconnecting a channel from the settings takes effect right away. We may keep the minimum data we are legally required to retain (for example billing records).
